Short answer

TikTok Shop does not have one universal seller fee. Calculate the order with the referral rate shown for your category, then add creator commission separately when it applies. Product, fulfillment, return and ad costs determine whether the order is profitable.

What counts as a TikTok Shop fee?

The platform referral fee and creator commission are different charges. The referral fee follows the marketplace rate that applies to the order. Creator commission is the rate you offer or agree to for creator-driven sales.

Product cost, seller-paid fulfillment, expected return loss and ad spend are not platform fees, but they still decide whether the order makes money. That is why the calculator keeps the fee stack and the full profit estimate separate.

Formula used

net sales = selling price − seller-funded discount
fee stack = net sales × (referral fee rate + creator commission rate)
estimated profit = net sales − fee stack − product cost − shipping − expected return loss − ad cost
